Early this morning...fog and low clouds were observed in central...eastern...and southern Oklahoma. Fog was locally dense around Oklahoma City...up through Stillwater and Ponca City. People traveling this morning should slow down...and be prepared to encounter sudden changes to visibility. The fog is not expected to persist very long into the morning hours. High pressure will build into the region...bringing increased wind speeds and drier air. At 615 AM...winds were already increasing over northern and western Oklahoma. The change in air mass will overspread central Oklahoma through 8 AM...resulting in improvement to visibility. Temperatures will remain cool today...with early morning wind chill values in the 20s...and afternoon high temperatures mainly reaching the 40s.
