Light to moderate rainfall will continue to fall across the the western suburbs of Washington dc and the city of Baltimore...the central foothills of northern Virginia...the Shenandoah valley and the extreme eastern panhandle of West Virginia this morning. Through 11 AM...the heaviest rainfall will affect north central Maryland...the eastern panhandle of West Virginia and extreme northern Virginia. Rainfall amounts between one and two tenths of an inch an hour will be likely. Further south across the Shenandoah valley and the central foothills of northern Virginia...rainfall amounts will be lighter as rain remains more patchy in nature. Areas of drizzle will also be likely. Hourly rainfall rates will range from a trace to a couple of hundredths an hour.
