A cold front will move into south Florida through midday and will Usher cooler and much drier air into the central peninsula. Clouds will linger over the space and Treasure Coasts and around Lake Okeechobee through midday but will clear as the front exits the area. Winds will increase out of the northwest to 15 to 20 mph with gusts around 25 mph. These winds will generate choppy conditions on area lakes through the day...a lake wind advisory is in effect for all of east central Florida from 10 AM this morning through 6 PM this evening. Temperatures will turn much colder after Sunset tonight as the northwest winds tap an arctic airmass moving into the deep south. Readings are expected to fall into the mid to upper 30s over most of the area while winds between 10 and 15 mph over the interior and 15 to 20 mph near the coast will generate wind chill readings in the mid 20s to low 30s. Portions of the immediate coast south of Sebastian inlet may hold in the low 40s with wind chill readings in the mid 30s. A wi
