Light showers will continue to move to the north along the coast from Sebastian inlet southwards. Most of these showers will remain east of I-95 and the Florida turnpike...though a few may brush the area around Lake Okeechobee. While most of these showers are dissipating as they move north...a few will reach into southern Brevard County through mid morning. Additional light shower development will be possible across this region through the morning commute. An area of moderate to heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms has developed just north of a warm front across far southern Florida. As the warm front moves north later this morning...these showers and storms are expected to move into the Treasure Coast by late morning.
